It became property of the Ordinas family in the 1930’s and their descendants are the current owners.
In the 1960’s a Franco-Swiss count hired the villa and it then became a refuge for aristocrats, artists, poets and politicians from all parts of Europe and the United States.
During this time “Mansión Sa Capella” was visited by the Queen of Holland, the King of Bulgaria, the artist Joan Miró and his wife Pilar, the poet Roberts Graves and the composer John Barry among others, who spent their holidays in Mallorca, enjoying the terraces of the villa.
